Do not hold the neutron source on the detector face with your hand or stand near the detector during this step. 

• During the neutron detector efficiency tests, verify no one is near the neutron detectors as this will artificially raise the neutron count. 
• Ensure distance between source and detector is minimized for accurate efficiency measurements.
