When using battery power there is no indication of battery level. When the battery runs out of power, the instrument will stop collecting measurements. It is recommended to charge the battery overnight before use and/or have an extra backup battery.

When the system is plugged into an external power outlet, power runs to the battery automatically. It is recommended to unplug the system from external power before installing or removing the battery.

The detector is heavy (>60 lbs). Lift with caution, preferably with two people.
