The buster needs to be calibrated before field use. This is to make sure that it is working and reading properly. Calibration should be done every time it is taken into a new environment and on a regular monthly basis.
If you wish to check the buster’s reading after calibrating, place the buster back on the calibration block and push in the trigger. The display should show “100” as the reading. It may not stay at “100,” but as long as you see “100” it is working properly.
